Group F undertook a complex challenge of combining five distinct civil engineering systems, including Earth Rock Dam, Highway Bridge, Pavement Overlay System, Road Pavement, and Wooden Bridge, and examined their Life Cycle Analyses while developing effective maintenance strategies. The team analyzed each system’s life cycle, from its construction to its demolition, to evaluate its environmental impact, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness. They then developed maintenance strategies that could help extend the life of each system, reduce maintenance costs, and ensure safety and reliability over the long term. Group F developed maintenance plans that were customized to suit the collective impact of the combined civil engineering systems.
