Ontology (Combined)

In the assignment of ontology integration, we need to combine the ‘Factory Steel Structure‘ as the main body with ‘Foundations‘, ‘Double Layer Concrete Frame Structure‘, and ‘Reinforced Concrete Frame Structure‘ to obtain Car Manufacturing Plant. We need to find commonalities of the respective ontology to rationalize the combination. For different features, it will be selectively retained and discarded.

What is our purpose?

The purpose of this integration of ontology includes the combination of the original idea of solar panels in the factory with the concrete frame structure, so as to meet the electricity consumption of buildings and workshops, and achieve the effect of energy saving and emission reduction. In the design, we pay attention to the coordination between the workshop and the building. In our design, the workshop is used for vehicle production, and the building is used for technology development and vehicle parking. Thereby, the production and export transportation of the automobile factory can be synchronized.

What problems do we need to solve?

1. Since the original factory design is not a clear car production, we need to add a feature subclass for the car factory in the ontology model.

2. In the original concrete frame body is a three-story building. Therefore, we need to appropriately reduce the floor according to our needs. Of course, it is also necessary to consider whether the layout of the floor changes will affect the performance of the solar panels. And we need to discuss the modification and preservation of the overall appearance of the existing concrete frame model.

3. Solar panels can usually only be placed on the roof to achieve maximum utilization. But we wanted to use more space in the building, so we tried many times to see if we could put the solar panels on the whole floor.

4. The location of the concrete frame building and the workshop is arranged so as to achieve mutual coordination between the R&D building and the production workshop, rather than two buildings.

What are our product goals?

Through the combination of a single body this time, we have imagined a complete set of energy-saving self-powered automobile manufacturing plants. Its main function is to provide power for solar panels with the help of concrete frame buildings. At the same time, the production energy of the car manufacturing plant is also provided by solar energy, thereby reducing the carbon emissions and energy consumption of the building. Take full advantage of the high plasticity combined with the ontology system. It should be noted that the actual technology support is not discussed in the design.

The ultimate beneficiary, on the one hand, is that manufacturers who face high production costs can reduce costs. On the other hand, it facilitates the transportation and commuting costs of automakers. The all-in-one design makes it convenient for both.
