Introduction:
The integration of individual systems in this assignment consist of:
-Fire Station
-Pipeline
-Railway Track
-Road
With the Fire Station as the main focus of the system and the rest of the individual systems as a complementary subsystems of the integrated system.
Developing the ontology:
What is the purpose?
The purpose of this ontology is to represent the different route designs of the pipeline and road with the terrain, fire station and railway track acting as a constraint to ensure the viewer of this ontology to have a good understanding of the whole system.
What is the scope?
For this integrated systems with location and terrain as constraints, the scope of this ontology aims to provide comprehension and understanding at the benefits and disadvantages of different route selection of the pipeline and road.
Who are the intended users?
This ontology could be utilized by a wide spectrum of users (Investor, Project Manager, Construction Engineer and Design Engineer) to give insight into overview of the system on how to economically and technically design the route.
What is the intended use?
Through a high performing, economical, environmental friendly design of the integrated system, investors and engineers could create a system that is efficient, economical and better performance in terms of energy and environmentally friendly.
