1.1 Introduction to the Project

While the first and second projects focused on planning and modeling a concept for an individual civil system, the goal of the third project is to understand the interactions and relationships between different civil systems and to model them in an integrated way.

To accomplish this, a separate consideration of each subsystem is important. Here, a fundamental understanding is provided to ultimately understand how the systems interact and work in an integrated version within an entirely new environment. Building on this knowledge, an integrated ontology and an integrated parameterized model will reflect the extensive context.

The main interest here is to provide readers with an incentive on how to build efficient and user-oriented systems. Not only can this type of building optimize costs through space savings, but also the fact that sustainable systems are implemented makes the integrated system unique. In this context, the coverage of energy needs, through a renewable energy system, plays a fundamental role. In addition, the flexibility of the model helps to generate different design variants to fit a specific context and thus to achieve the objectives made.
