Metropolis Hospital

Metropolis Hospital

Increasing population and intensified moving into urban areas caused a evolvement of mega cities all around the world. In these metropolises the infrastructure became more and more important because it has to adapt to an rising growth  and ever changing requirements. This in mind the importance of a parametrized and easy to modify model of civil engineered products becomes clear.

The following model represents the connections of a large inner city hospital and a public supermarket next to it. The target is to provide sufficient and efficient supply of health and groceries. Nevertheless, each one is combined with a building specified model of a green rooftop, which is in contrast to the otherwise urban surrounding and serves as a recovery area for patients and costumers. To handle the big amounts of waste water, a sewerage beneath the ground leads to a central treatment plant.

With a big city goes along a large population. To cope with the demand, the hospital as well as the super market need to be on a large scale.

As a consequence of the size of the buildings in the system an adequate waste water structure needs to be implemented. Due to this reason, we have the following input for our our waste water regeneration system.

According to regulations, every hospital needs an appropriate amount of recovery spaces for the patients. To guarantee this space, additionally to the outside area a green rooftop was planted on top of the hospital.
