Introduction

Road systems play a significant role in the development and growth of societies. A good road system is required in large-crowded cities, where cars and bicycles share the road with trucks and trams. The importance of roadways cannot be compensated with other means of transport; whether it’s an airplane taking off or landing, a ship needs to refuel and get to a railway station; they all need a roadway. The development of a nation always starts with road infrastructure; it supports society as the basis to access jobs, health care, education, and social connections, among other purposes. It is also crucial as it opens up more areas and stimulates economic and social development. In this project, we integrated five systems: a highway, an airport pavement, two different types of tunnels, and a retaining wall.

Like in any design challenge, a few obstacles appeared while integrating the systems above. The following is a description of the challenges faced and the solutions provided.
