In this section we will complete the standardised genetic algorithm. First we define the minimisation function, the number of input variables, the number of output measures and the lower and upper bounds on the input variables, as shown in the figure.

We combine rocksupport and anticorrosion as a system and call it a tunneling system. Where 838 is rocksupport considering only the intervention BR and the main objective is bolt replacement. 863
is the anticorrosion intervention considered only for AACL measures, the main objective being the spraying of corrosion protection coatings.

The output variable is the total duration of the intervention. Where the minimum distance interventions are for energy, CO2, NOx,SO2, and cost.
