Abstract
This project focuses on integrating ontological and parametric models to create a unified urban system. Our group worked on four distinct systems: a bridge (modeled for maintenance strategies), a residential building, a high-rise framed tube structure, and a high-rise building. The key challenge was aligning models with different scopes while ensuring parameter connectivity without excessive complexity.
For ontology integration, we incorporated missing parameters, reduced redundancies, and introduced maintenance classifications. Parametrically, we established dependencies where the bridge connected the high-rises, with its length and height influenced by the spatial arrangement of the buildings. The final integration is presented through a structured website that visualizes the relationships and model dependencies.
