Multi-Object Optimization

MAINTENANCE STRATEGY  (Integrated system)

Putting into consideration the substantial effects the interventions will have on each of our systems, the duration for the intervention gotten, which was 119 days was considered the most suitable for our integrated system, without using the multi-objective optimization.

The next thing we did was to define the input ranges to get the energy emissions ( CO2, NOX, SO2, and Costs), using Non- dominated sorting genetic algorithm II.

For the different design alternatives, in the range of the defined input parameters, we were able to get values for the cost, energy emissions, duration, and other output parameters, as displayed in Fig 2.

In the last part of the project, we had to define the functions specifically, whereas here, we generated all the different preferable design options. For e.g. in the design explores the function, we defined the function to take the lowest duration of intervention and the highest intervention distances.
