Introduction

In today’s world, the sustainability of infrastructure projects and systems is of paramount importance. With growing concerns over energy consumption and environmental pollution, there is an increasing need to understand the costs associated with energy usage and emissions of greenhouse gases and air pollutants such as CO2, SO2, and NOx. As society increasingly prioritizes sustainability and environmental responsibility, understanding the financial and environmental implications of various activities becomes paramount.

Moreover, the assignment explores the development of a holistic maintenance plan that considers the interdependencies between our different components of systems and optimizes resource allocation to balance life-cycle costs. This integrated approach aims to enhance overall system performance and resilience while achieving cost-effectiveness and sustainability objectives.
