Health Resort

In a context of modernization and globalisation, the health and economic infrastructures tend to be more and more centralized. However, small infrastructures have some advantages like the localization, proximity and the conviviality. It is therefore important to keep some of these smaller infrastructures. In order to facilitate their implantation a parametric model of a rural health resort has been created.

The context of the Health resort is as follows.

It consists of a small hospital with a super market close by. The number of the health resort patients is strictly limited by its surface. The supermarket  is designed to host an adequate amount of costumers. On top of both roofs little green rooftops are planted to be consistent with the natural ambiance. Their inputs are defined by the area of the roof.

The environnemental issue became more and more important so these green roof tops will provide both, aesthetic and environnement use, such as roof thermal insulation or stormwater retention. Furthermore a green roof top is proved to have benefits for the hospital patients.

To treat the waste water from the hospital and the supermarket, a waste water structure has been designed.  The two buildings are connected to the sewerage, which leads to a local sewage treatment plant.
